The Challenge Launch a premium classical school in Los Angeles, where no one has ever heard of classical education, and make it feel innovative instead of old.
South Bay Classical Academy is a brand-new private classical school launching in the Los Angeles area with tuition over $20,000 a year. The audience is a sophisticated millennial parent who values premium education but has absolutely no frame of reference for what classical education is. Our job was to take an ancient model and make it feel fresh, modern, and unmissable.
We came in at day one. Working alongside Arcadia Education (who led school planning, feasibility studies, and the headmaster search) and founding headmaster David Jackson, we built everything from scratch: brand, logo, fonts, colors, website, multiple admissions brochures, an enrollment folder and packet, handouts, slideshows, and presentations. We designed the event strategy for enrollment marketing, built out email sequences and drip campaigns, created all social media content, and managed digital marketing and lead generation. We also produced a launch video and are providing strategy consulting on early-stage fundraising.
This is a ground-up, zero-to-sixty partnership. Similar to our work with St. John Paul the Great in Denver, we are deeply embedded with the board and founding team as SBCA prepares to open its doors.
We meet multiple times a week with Valor's leadership team to provide strategic coaching on admissions marketing and development. It is a deep, ongoing partnership across every channel.
